|I wish someone would have told us how nice and big these cabins were. I saw sizes but never really believed what I saw I guess. I have seen cabins before that ended up to be tiny. THESE were HUGE!. Great weekend and we will do it again, but we will only need ONE cabin instead of two. Good for me.. Bad for you! LOL Thanks for such a great time!|

|First time being back to Lake Icaria in 14 yrs. Used to love this place, however since all the renovations since I've last been here I am very disappointed. After spending thousands on supplies and driving to get here and paying for an electric sight and a tent sight so we can still be by the water to fish but be able to have a fan and chargers for our phones at night since parking is no where near tent sights. But apparently you can't run a cord from the electric sight that you paid for to your tent.. Was fine for 2 nights then all the sudden it wasn't. We get to go camping once a year. We go all out because we love to tent camp. Drove 3 hrs to get here spend more than $2000 on everything. Have 3 groups of tent campers planning on coming here but will not recommend lake Icaria. Littlefield Recreational area accomadates customer wants and needs. We spend hundred on boat rentals, bait, tackle at the Bobbers Down Marina. Couple hundred on camping sights. We would do this every year with 3 more groups of tent campers that would occupy sights that nobody wants. We don't drink, don't play any music, remain quite most of time without bothering anybody. Spend alot of money just to camp here and bring family and friends to camp here during my birthday weekend every year. It would be night to have the rule stated In the tent camping brochure that you can not rent an electrical sight and use electricity in your tent sight that you also paid for. That needs to be somewhere other than fine print on one piece of paper on the information board. Had I known that I wouldn't have wasted $108 on a full service sight. We don't try and brk the rules, we just want to enjoy the 5 days a year we get to spend my birthday doing what we love. Camping and fishing. Would have been nice to been notified by the first 3 park rangers that came to our sight before we spend 6 hrs dragging all our camping supplies and food down the hill to our tent sight. Kind of put a sour taste in our mouth from the camp ground we used to love the most. Probably be the last time we and our fellow camping friends come back to Lake Icaria Camp ground ever again. Birthday weekend nightmare.|
