Design Committee

Local Facade Program

The Facade program may provide financial incentives to the property and/or business owners located in the Main Street district to assist in adding, restoring and/or rehabilitating the signs and storefronts of their buildings.

The Facade Improvement Program will provide technical assistance along with the matching grant to owners or tenants (with owner’s permission) of commercial property. If awarded, each Grant will pay for 40% (up to $1000 maximum) of the total rehabilitation cost applied for. Maximum of 5 grants awarded in a calendar year.

This program is supported by TS Bank, PCSB Bank, State Bank of Brooks and Iowa State Savings Bank. Download the information sheet and/or contact the Main Street office to learn more.
