Come and Play! Come and Stay!
We invite you to come explore Adams County, and experience this wonderful area for yourself. You may find that it’s not only a great place to visit, but also the right place for you to raise your family, establish a business, or retire and enjoy a life free of worry, because you can put your trust in the community.
New residents will be greeted with open arms and helping hands. Need help finding any information? Make your first stop the offices at the Lauvstad Center, where you can pick up a new telephone book, and find the answers to many of your questions. Adams County is an open community, and we’re always here with open arms. We’re glad to help, and we’re glad you’re here! Welcome!
Adams Community Foundation
ACF invests in projects that will make a difference in the lives of current and future Adams County residents by offering grants to local non-profits and governmental entities for community projects. Our grant application deadlines are the first Friday in May and the first Friday in December. To date, the Foundation has contributed almost 1.5 million dollars to worthy projects in Adams County since 1986.
