ACEDC Revolving Loan Fund – Low-interest loans are available for new and expanding businesses in Adams County. Applications are due the first week of the month. Adams County Enterprise Zones – The Enterprise Zone program seeks to encourage business in economically distressed geographies. Adams County currently has ten enterprise zone districts. A qualifying business locating or expanding in an Enterprise Zone may receive tax benefits including up to a 10% investment tax credit, a rebate of the 5% sales tax paid on construction costs, a property tax abatement of 100% for 5 years, workforce training tax credits and research and development tax credit of up to 6.5%.
Tax Increment Financing - Under the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) program, businesses are given the incentive to construct new industrial or commercial facilities by receiving direct benefit from the property tax increase caused by the added value of those new facilities.
