Happy Holidays! I don’t know if you’ve discovered the latest and greatest from Adams County or not, but I’ll be spending some of my holiday moments with my feet up, sipping on some delicious and delightful wine from the Corning Winery. I’m not sure I’m up on all the latest vintages on the market, but I’ve sampled some at Something Special, the Corning Mini Mart, the Electric Burrito and picked up a bottle, or two, or three, a dozen or more (all as gifts, of course
) at the various outlets, including the Corning Hy-Vee Food Store.
The wine is fantastic and the labeling is elegant and inviting. Not only does it invite you to "Come relax with us as you enjoy our classic wines.", but it also invites you to experience the unique flavors of the historic, traditional, and exciting venues that make up Adams County. So "cheers" to a new year, to the Corning Winery and to you and yours as we say goodbye to 2008 and look forward to a challenging yet rewarding 2009.
My husband and I attended the Western Iowa Grape Growers annual wine banquet last evening. We met Ron and Barb and were very impressed with their wines. The Lake Icaria Mist was delightful and crisp. Very soothing to the taste buds. We were very blessed to meet them and proud to have a winery so close to home.
thanks to Beth for the sample of the white wine, delicious, crisp, refreshing. Here’s wishing much success to the Corning Winery! We look forward to sampling some more at our next visit.
Can you ship wine to Arizona?????
I believe they can. However, I know there are a few States that don’t allow direct shipments. Send me your contact information to acedc@frontiernet.net and I will have the Corning Winery contact you.
